Almost four decades of experience

Nordic Contractors AS has been active in the construction and real estate sector since 1989, when AS Eesti Ehitus began operating in the fields of construction project management and general contracting. Since January 2011, the company’s business name has been Nordecon AS.

In 1997, a stake was acquired in the road construction company AS Aspi, and in 1998 in the South Estonian construction company AS Linnaehitus.

Today, the group includes the construction company Nordecon AS, the infrastructure construction and road maintenance company Tariston AS, the leading South Estonian construction and development company Embach Ehitus OÜ, and Eurocon Ukraine TOV, which operates in the Ukrainian market.

Nordic Contractors AS is based on Estonian capital. The company’s shareholders are the group’s chairman Mr. Toomas Luman (70%) and Mr. Egon Mats (30%).

From commercial buildings to military facilities

Nordic Contractors provides services primarily through its subsidiary Nordecon AS. Nordecon AS is represented in all major segments of the construction market, both in building and infrastructure construction — ranging from apartment buildings and commercial properties to road construction and maintenance, as well as national defense infrastructure. The shares of Nordecon AS have been listed on the Main List of the Tallinn Stock Exchange since May 18, 2006, and Nordic Contractors AS currently owns 51.16% of the company.

Another important area of activity for Nordic Contractors is real estate development. The parent company focuses primarily on commercial real estate, consolidating investments and development projects in Estonia.

In addition, Nordic Contractors AS has invested in the leisure industry, owning a 100% stake in the small harbor OÜ Lohusalu Sadam in Northern Estonia.

The group operates in Estonia and Ukraine. In Estonia, the primary focus is on general contracting and real estate development, while in the Ukrainian construction market projects are approached selectively, with careful assessment of the associated risks and the overall situation.
