This Privacy Policy describes how Nordic Contractors AS, registration number 10359185 (hereinafter referred to as “Nordic Contractors”), processes personal data in connection with its business activities (including customers and business partners, as well as real estate development), the use of its website, job applications, and other situations in which Nordic Contractors processes personal data.

The processing of personal data by Nordic Contractors is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the General Data Protection Regulation), also known as the “GDPR”. It is also governed by the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act and the applicable requirements relating to cookies and electronic communications. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide our customers, business partners (including their representatives), employees, and other individuals who visit the website or provide personal data to Nordic Contractors with clear and transparent information about how Nordic Contractors may process their personal data.

2. Important information regarding the personal data of customers and partners

2.1. We hereby inform you that we process the personal data of the contractual representatives of our business partners for the purpose of concluding and performing contracts with our business partners and, on the basis of our legitimate interest, for managing business relationships. We retain such data until the expiry of the applicable retention period for the concluded contracts.

The personal data of business partners’ representatives may include:

  • first name and surname;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • employer/organisation and job title;
  • information relating to authorisation or the right of representation;
  • the content of contractual communications.

2.2. If you contact us regarding a real estate property in which you are interested, we may process your personal data for the purpose of preparing an offer, managing customer communications, and, where a property sale takes place, concluding and performing the relevant contract(s). In such cases, we will retain your personal data for one year following the initial contact.

If you enter into an agreement with us for the purchase of an apartment ownership, we will retain your personal data until the expiry of the statutory liability period applicable to the building.

The aforementioned personal data may include:

  • first name and surname;
  • email address;
  • personal identification code and/or date of birth;
  • telephone number;
  • residential address of a natural person or the registered address of a legal entity;
  • the property of interest;
  • information required for completing the transaction;
  • employer/organisation and job title.

2.3. Personal data provided to us by our business partners or customers may be shared with and processed by Nordic Contractors and by third parties that provide services to Nordic Contractors and act on its behalf, to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with the customer or business partner.

Where expressly required by applicable law, your personal data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities.

2.4. Nordic Contractors does not disclose, use, modify, or otherwise transmit personal data entrusted to Nordic Contractors in any manner other than for its intended purpose, unless such disclosure has been agreed with the customer or business partner or is required under applicable law.

We implement appropriate measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or unauthorised access.

3. Using the website

3.1. When you use the website, the following information may be collected and stored:

IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Data is collected regarding which sections of the website are visited and how long visitors remain on those pages. 4. Job application or other user request

4.1. On the Nordic Contractors website, it is possible to submit additional inquiries by entering your personal data during the process. This data is used only as necessary to respond to the inquiry and is stored in accordance with the terms permitted by the user when entering the data.

4.2. When submitting an inquiry to Nordic Contractors, the personal data that may be processed includes:
• first and last name of the person;
• phone number;
• email address;
• the content of the inquiry and any related documents, if they contain personal data;
• personal identification code.

4.3. Nordic Contractors does not retain documents related to job applications for longer than one year from the date of the recruitment process.
